The Top iPhone Photography Apps

No digital photography buzz site would be complete with some mention of the iPhone now would it?  So, I did a little digging around the information superhighway  and discovered all kinds of sites touting their “best of” lists for photography apps on the iPhone.  I thought I’d list a few and if you have a favorite you don’t see listed we’d love to have you chime in!  (In no particular order)…

FatBooth allows you to make fat photo transformations!  Take a pic of yourself and see how you’d look with a few hundred extra pounds.  See also: AgingBooth and BaldBooth

With a variety of setting options the Hipstamatic iPhone app transforms those digital images into varying degrees of cool retro.

The 360 Panorama iPhone app allows you to create a real time 360 panoramic shot by moving your iphone in a complete circle.  You can then save as a flat image or as a virtual tour so your friends can experience what you’re experiencing!

Photogene offers a suite of editing tools such as filtering, cropping, etc.

The Lab iPhone app allows you to display all the technical details of your image including exposure info, shutter speed, etc.  A handy tool for the budding photographer.

Instagram allows you to easily share your photos across the social networking landscape (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr) quickly and easily. It also features its own photo sharing social network site which is growing quickly.

Camera+ aims to turn your iPhone into a true camera with all kinds of features such as Stabilizer to help avoid the blur, a timing feature for self portraits, many design options, a lightbox studio, the ability to set exposure separately from focus, sharing and more.  A very popular app.

ShakeitPhoto turns your iPhone into an old school Polaroid even mimicking the sound of the snap shot and developing the picture faster as you shake your phone.  Very cool.
